Gift Guidelines

• Price Range: Each gift should cost between $10-$20.
• Theme/Type: Feel free to bring fun, quirky, or practical gifts—just keep it festive and tasteful!
• Wrap It Up: Gifts should be wrapped, but avoid marking them with names or clues about the contents.

How It Will Work

1. Number Assignment:

   • When attendees check in for the luncheon, each participant who brought a gift will draw a number from a basket. This number determines the order of gift selection.

2. Setting Up the Gift Exchange:

   • After the luncheon program concludes, all gifts will be placed in a designated area where participants can see the collection without handling or peeking.

3. Exchange Rules:

   • Choosing a Gift:
     • The attendee with #1 begins by selecting any wrapped gift from the pile and opening it in front of the group, showing everyone what they received.
   • Gift Stealing:
     • The attendee with #2 can either “steal” the first person’s gift or pick a new, unopened gift.
     • If they choose to steal, #1 picks another unopened gift.
     • This continues with each subsequent number, where each person can either take an already opened gift or choose a new, wrapped one.
   • Gift Limits:
     • A gift can only be stolen up to two times during the game. Once it reaches its limit, it “locks” and stays with its final owner.
     • Each person can only be stolen from once per turn, to keep things moving smoothly.
   • Final Round Twist:
     • After the last participant has chosen or stolen a gift, #1 has the option to make one final exchange with any unlocked gift, bringing the game full circle.
